Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a cultural celebration rooted in indigenous and Christian traditions celebrated throughout Mexico and parts of Latin America and is a time to celebrate and reconnect with our ancestors and loved ones who have died. The Center for Mexican American Studies in collaboration with PSJA Independent School District hosted their annual Día de los Muertos Altar Competition. Self Help Graphics and Art present the 48th Annual Día de Los Muertos Celebration on Saturday, October 30th from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
